Why volunteer with us
Flexible, supported and safe
Flexible
Choose your availability and volunteer by phone or video, at times that suit you.
Supported
Clear training, communication guidance and ongoing support from our team.
Safe
Every volunteer is Enhanced DBS checked, as part of our safeguarding approach.
What it involves
Mostly, being a good listener
You might chat about shared interests, help someone make their first video call, or encourage them to try a local group. We match you with someone you are likely to get on with, and our team is there if you have a question or a concern.
Even short, regular calls can mean a great deal to someone who does not hear from many people.
